Google Docs Quick Create Extension

As a student, I often organize/create all of my work in my Google Drive and am constantly opening new tabs for a new Google Doc, Spreadsheet, Presentations, etc. After browsing through some Google Extensions, I recently found a handy new extension called Google Docs Quick Create. The extension itself is not very complex, but allows you to open a new file in your Google Drive (must be logged in!) with just two simple clicks:

The extension allows you to open a new doc, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing, or form:

Again, the extension itself is nothing radical or life-changing, but simply just convenient. Though it is not a lot, you save yourself a few seconds of time by using this extension, rather than opening new tabs and going to your Google Apps or directly to Google Docs or Google Slides. If an idea suddenly comes to mind and you need to quickly write it down or draw it, the extension is right there for your convenience. The extension may also be helpful during class when you need to quickly open a new document for notes or a new presentation for a project. Download it from the Chrome Web Store and try it out for yourself!
